A little about ourselves
We are a non-profit research organization focusing on the intersection of contextually relevant technology and multisectoral development for rural and peri-urban communities across Nepal and the Global South. Our mission is to expand access to communication tools, digital applications, and underlying infrastructure where they are missing or unaffordable. By putting digital tools into hands at the grassroots level, we help build informed societies and foster community development across the developing world.
What we do,
We operate across three main pillars to drive sustainable, technology-led development:
1. Research & CollaborationWe bring together researchers from developed and developing nations—with a focus on South Asian counterparts—to freely exchange ideas, best practices, and recent developments. By combining on-the-ground interaction with an online collaboration platform, we foster a continuous knowledge-sharing ecosystem. We provide ground-level field research and platform support to help research teams conduct comprehensive needs analyses.
2. Infrastructure & ApplicationBased on our gap analysis, we help build tailored digital infrastructure and applications in key regions, utilizing a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Our ICT projects focus on enhancing public information systems and dissemination across critical sectors, including:
